Oktoberfest USA in La Crosse, Wisconsin has run since 1961, making it the longest-running Oktoberfest in the Midwest: the Maple Leaf Parade, polka, carnival rides, and a Golden Keg tapping that kicks the whole thing off.
A first-year partner needed gated entry, cash-free grounds, will-call, and credentials built from scratch for a multi-day festival of roughly 26,000 people.
We deployed 14 NTR-6 portals and wrstSCN handhelds for entry, 24 NTR-T terminals for wrstPOS cashless, and a box office plus six NTR-T+ self-service kiosks running wrstREG, with advance mail fulfillment on custom carriers.
In year one we stood up access, cashless, box office, credentials, and fulfillment for ~26,000 attendees, prepping 2,500 advance mail carriers.
