Summer Smash
Essential entry, credentialing, and fulfillment for one of the country’s largest hip-hop festivals.
Held in Bridgeview, IL, Summer Smash draws tens of thousands of fans for a multi-day hip-hop festival experience. With sprawling grounds, tiered ticketing, and a high-energy crowd, the event demanded a strong, adaptable system built for speed and scale.
The festival had to process massive crowds across multiple days and over 20 unique zones, while also fulfilling 25,000+ pre-mailed wristbands and managing high-volume on-site sales.
wrstCORE integrated with DICE to process and fulfill orders ahead of time. For on-site access control, we deployed 30 NTR-6s, and 30 NTR -Ts were utilized for box office services.
WRSTBND deployed 60+ devices and processed over 150,000 scans. The team also managed the fulfillment of 25,000 wristband packages and distributed 70,000+ wristbands in total, keeping fans moving and transactions flowing.
