The Client

Belmar Beach draws hundreds of thousands of visitors every summer. With 14 entrance points, the beach needed a faster, more reliable way to manage daily and seasonal passes while reducing its reliance on cash.

The Challenge

Belmar handled $3–4 million in seasonal transactions, mostly in cash. Entry was managed manually, creating long lines and complicated end-of-day reconciliations. A digital system was needed to speed up entry, improve oversight, and reduce friction for guests and staff.

The Results

WRSTBND introduced a system using QR code passes and credit card payments. All entrances were equipped for real-time tracking, giving the city live visibility into traffic and revenue. What once took hours to reconcile now takes minutes, and guests enjoy faster access to the shore.
